Firstly, we will visit you and listen very carefully to your own ideas and plans. Our goal is to develop a thorough understanding of your needs and wishes and get a feel for the space and surrounding landscape. Where necessary, we will offer and assist you with innovative and practical ideas and solutions. We will do this in a friendly, open, honest and inclusive way to ensure that we are really tuned-in to your vision and tastes. All the ideas we worked through together will then be turned into a practical, detailed package of drawings. This should reflect everything we agreed on and will start to give you a real picture of your vision beginning to turn into a reality with some technical and planting aspects explained and shown in visual context. Once the design is completed, we will provide you with a detailed quotation for the construction works. Or alternatively, if you already have a preferred contractor in mind, we can pass the completed drawings on to them for quotation. We work on a variety of different projects and can tailor the design package to your individual needs and budget. Firstly, we will visit you and listen carefully to your own ideas and plans to develop a thorough understanding of your needs and wishes, as well as get a feel for the space and surrounding landscape. We will put together a design brief and carry out a site survey that will include levels and utilities.

Once we have gathered all the necessary information, we will produce a concept plan - the first draft of our ideas. This stage focuses mostly on the layout rather than specific details of materials or planting.

After the concept has been agreed, we will develop a detailed overall masterplan, which will include more specific details like materials, style of planting, size and arrangement of spaces / objects and lighting.

Once the masterplan has been completed and agreed, we will develop the technical drawings and documents, that will include setting out plan, specification document and any other relevant construction drawings if required.

The planting plan shows the layout, location, species, size and quantities of all plants. We will also use mood boards and planting calendars to demonstrate the changes in planting between different seasons.

Once the design is complete, we will provide a detailed quotation for the work involved and our skilled and experienced team will bring your vision to life.
